| Customer Reviews:
horrible horrible -- leaks after washing it a few times March 28, 2008 One of the biggest sources of my frustration after having a baby is just when I start feeding a hungry baby his milk, the bottle pours out over half of it all over a clean baby -- wasting breastmilk or formula, getting a clean baby dirty, his shirt all wet, and making him cry horribly because I have to pull the bottle away -- the bottles worked great for the first month I had them (I bought about 5 because I liked them) -- but now they are warped and the tops don't fit properly on I feel like I want my money back -- it's so frustrating to go to feed your baby and end up pouring the milk all over him.
SOOO Frustrated! March 18, 2008 What a waste of money! These had great reviews when I first started researching bottles. I bought several of them (around 10) and the stage one nipples worked great at first. My daughter is now six weeks old and a week ago these bottles stopped working! I never had a problem with them leaking, but now the nipple either collapses or nothing comes out! I have to unscrew the cap and then she can get some out, but twice now (in the middle of the night) I forgot that the cap was unscrewed and it went EVERYWHERE! Not to mention I could feel the air come out of the open end obviously creating more gas issues! It takes her a half an hour to drink 3 ounces! Tonight I will be buying new bottles and obviously a new brand. What a disappointment!
Finally a keeper March 6, 2008 We bought countless bottles for baby who didn't want to take to any of them. At first I thought the soothies would be a hit but with their flat base under the nipple baby almost can't breath with nose pushing into that so then we tried these. Everyone had been recommending them to us! We love them and only buy these now! However they come in regular or wide nipples and I'm not seeing on Amazon a distinction on the product description? I prefer the wider base nipples so as to be closer to breast (hey I'm a mom). The only drawback is after a year and a half of using them and microing them to heat the milk (per manufacturer instructions) it distorted the bottle shape enough (not seen to the eye) that after screwing on the nipple tops the bottles would leak. So after heavy use for about a year you will need to replace them. But I'd still give them a 5 because this would happen to any plastic bottle.
Seeing some reviews to say keep your money and don't waste it on these because of it's claim on reducing gas etc. For us it isn't JUST that but the tilt of the bottle. When our baby was learning to hold her bottle herself this bottle is tilted enough that she doesn't have to hold it as high as you would EVERY other bottle brand on the market. This was a big plus for us and her confidence!

Couldn't cancel my stars but changing my opinion. Thanks Playtex for selling BABY BOTTLES with the dangerous BPA chemical in them that is linked to Cancer of all things. I trashed these bottles as soon as the issue was public and bought BPA FREE bottles. Much happier now. :)
Not Worth The Money!!! December 28, 2007 I purchased these bottles when I was still pregnant thinking that they would be great for the switch between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. At first they were ok, a bit confusing perhaps but still working alright. Then they started leaking. I read the instructions on how to heat them up and I did it the way it was detailed and they would still leak. Not just one of them but all of them. If you're a breastfeeding mom, you know how important that milk can be for a newborn; it's gold! I would lose a few ounces which would mean I'd go and have to pump more to make up for it. So I just threw them out and opted to go for Avent Natural bottles instead. Haven't had a problem with them at all. So just save your money. Sure they're cute but I'd rather have a full, happy baby :)
A Dreadful Product August 13, 2007 I have never before written a product review - good or bad - on any website, but these bottles motivated me to speak. They are horrible. What is most shocking is that their gimmick is that no air comes in from the nipple, but the only times my children used them air not only rushed in through the nipple but did so in a violent manner. It looked like a gyser erupting.
It would seem that the vent at the bottom of the bottle is so tempermental that it vapor locks for any reason or for no reason at all. When that happens, your child will have to suck like mad to get any milk until the negative pressure in the bottle overwhelms him or her and tries to suck his or her insides out. Steer clear.
