This adorable toy is so versatile. It's great to be able to stick it on the high chair, in the bath tub...or take it off of the suction and let baby go for it. My son liked it so much that I bought one for my niece!

I look for toys that are fairly quiet, easy for the child to manipulate and require more than pushing a button. I look for toys that are versatile. If the toy grows with the child, so much better! This toy meets just about all of these expectations. I like that the toy part pops off of the base part. IT is difficult for the child to put the toy part back into the base part. However, this is nice for taking on car rides, etc. I took the toy part off and gave it to my son to play with until he was old enough to sit up. When he could sit up, I stuck it on his high chair (and excersaucer)so he could play with it. I will say that the suction didn't work very well. (hence the four rating)However, it worked well enough for what I wanted that it didn't bother me. Each part of this toy is bright, colorful, moving. It is not loud, nor is it too stimulating. I would say it hits a good balance of being exciting but not over stimulating. Suction cup toys are few and far between. I bought this one and haven't been sorry.

I bought this to use on the high chair, but within 2 days my son had the rattle part off the base. Needless to say it never went back on for more than 5 min. BUT he did enjoy it in the car and other places.

At 2 months old this was my little baby girls 1st real toy & she loved it from minute one and at 9 mo. she still really enjoys it...IF she can get it away from her 3 older brothers, they ALL love it too! I like that there is so much going on with this little toy..everything spins also the black & white circular part seperates from the red suction base making for great hand held play.
Won't stick to anything! June 4, 2001
I purchased this to put on my daughter's exersaucer and found quickly that it just won't stick. She's only 4 months old, yet can pull it off and drop it on the floor within seconds. Very frustrating. I had a hard time fimding a suction-cup base toy and thought this would be great. My daughter loves playing with it and trying to chew on it - but it quicly ends up onthe floor. Had I known this I wouldn't have purchased it - any of her other toys would work the same.
