 Great! Concise and cute! September 9, 2008
Love the colors and illustrations. Don't really notice the quotes at all, let alone the scipture. If you're looking for something to record the more poignant moments, this is it. If you're looking to record EVERY moment in great detail, you may need more space. I am not bogged down with minutia, but wanted a simple journal, and spiral bound to accommodate the pictures. This is perfect for me!

No where in the journal does it say acid free, so does it mean it's not?
Also it's very religious oriented. It has bible quotes in almsot every page. It's not bad, but some people may want a neutral approach.

I really, like this book. It is very cute and the pictures are great. On each page is a little quote which is nice. I also like that ther is a place for everything. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I can't be more pleased with the baby journal. It has a good binding, fun stuffs, beautiful graphics, and my most favorite part is that is has wonderful quotation, both from famous people and from the bible! I love it! I love it! It's good to get it while you're still pregnant (I'm 8 months pregnant now) as the journal has stuffs to fill out before the birth of the baby.

I was looking for something that would record a lot of the baby's and toddler's "firsts." I highly recommend the Humble Bumbles Baby Journal: it covers all the high points and baby firsts, has ample room for a variety of pictures, and every page is unique and cheerfully illustrated. It has enough room to write down what you would like to record, but not so much that you feel compelled to compose a novel for each entry (something many new parents do not have time for)! This book is not gender specific, so it would make a perfect gift for even the parent who does not know the sex of their baby. Many posts have complained about the scripture verses, however that is something I prefer and appreciate in this book. Evenso, not every page has a Bible verse; some have really sweet quotations regarding childhood and parenting. This book is extremely well-done with much thought on the part of the author. I have been able to record in this book since the day my daughter was born...this is something I will be able to treasure even when she is grown!
