These shoes are really cute, the only problem is trying to get them on your 1 year old. They definitely are adorable though.
 Excellent play shoe for toddler boys or girls June 24, 2008
I have just purchased a pair of these shoes for my daughter to replace a pair she has nearly outgrown. Yes, they are for my daughter even though they are intended for little boys - they just look like a plain brown shoe when she is wearing them. They are super soft, supportive, and flexible; and the rubber toe guard really helps keep them looking new. And the low price on these from Amazon makes them a no-brainer. I would highly recommend these shoes!
Great shoe and good support for new walkers June 2, 2008

My 17 month old son's physical therapist said this is the best shoe for new walkers who need extra support, especially for those little ones whose ankles roll inward when they walk. She recommended we keep him barefoot when at home, but when out and about to have him where these shoes from Stride Rite. We bought them at the Stride Rite store so he could be fitted properly. The brown is much nicer than the black and they are really stylish - we get lots of compliments on them. I like that they have real laces, as he tends to just rip off any velcro shoes we ever try on him.

These boots are super adorable. My son has a wide foot and they fit him good in the wide size. They are easy to get on and he seems very comfortable in them. They are the first pair of "real" shoes he has worn. Only leather slipper styles before. Only negative is the laces, it can be hard to get a 15 month old to sit still long enough to tie them, but once they are double knotted he can't get them off. I am very happy with them.

These are great shoes. They are well made and look really cute on my son. I highly recommend them. They are sturdy and comfortable for any boy learning to walk.
