So convenient and totally worth it! December 16, 2008 The best invention ever! My daughter has been using the same Munchkin Snack Catcher for about a year and a half now and this product is very durable. I like this brand (compared to the Snack Trap) because here the edges are soft and rounded. It is very comfortable for little hands (the other one pokes you!). I've recently purchased a double pack to give one to a friend who lives in Europe and eventually keep the second one for maybe a next child. I've also attached to the handle a little clip like a "c" ring that i got from some other baby toy and that way i can hook up the Snack Catcher on the stroller harness or just about anywhere (on my belt even). I highly recommend this product.
Mother of 14 month old December 16, 2008 THESE CUPS ARE GREAT MY LITTLE ONE LOVES BEING ABLE TO GET HER OWN SNACKS OUT OF THE CUP AND I LOVE HER NOT MAKING A MESS.
Great Product December 10, 2008 Great little snack cup... My daughter uses this all the time when we are on the go, in the car etc. Items only seem to spill out if she shakes it too hard and it has small (Cheerios etc) snacks in it. I love it so much that I've given it as a gift to my niece. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe etc.
What a great idea! December 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
They didn't have anything like this when my kids were little. My grandson has been able to use these since he was about 8 months old. It's wonderful. The lid makes it easy to stick his little hand in and grab his snack. There are no edges to scratch him, and they hold the snacks in well. They are great for roaming the house, in the car or on the run. I especially appreciate that the dogs can't help themselves when our backs are turned like in the old days! When the baby drops it, nothing falls out. It also cleans easily and stays looking good for a long time. A winner!
Great as long as you don't have unreasonable expectations. November 29, 2008 This is a great product as long as you remember you are still giving them to a 3 foot con-artist/escape artist who get out of and make a mess out of anything. The cup as a whole is well designed for travel snacking and around the house snacks. The slotted top is sturdy enough that my 15 month old can get his hand in but not a fist full of snacks out. However, if you blindly throw a handful of crackers with some broken bits and small crumbs in there, any toddler quickly figures out how to use the cup as a shaker to sprinkle crumbs all over the house. These are great to use in stores to keep a fussy kid busy with a few snacks while you finish up the shopping. All in all my kid loves it, however, as I stated up front, don't think that any of these snack cups are going to provide a "mess free" experience.... just a reduced mess one.
