 Buckle strap too short September 30, 2008

I shopped for a long time to find a good price on this car seat as everyone seemed to agree that it was the safest one out there. The buckle strap is so short that when buckled, the clips are down between my daughter's legs forcing her to hold them far apart. It made red marks on her inner thighs. My daughter is only 19 pounds, so this is not because she has gotten too big for the seat. I called Britax and they told me that they have heard from others that this model has too short a strap and there is nothing to be done.
I give it one star because this flaw made the seat useless to me and now I have to pay return shipping - which I imagine is going to be pricey.

I bought this car seat for my 18 month-old son who has down syndrome. He is on the smaller size and this has so much suppport! The boulevard is big, but I have an Accord and there is still plenty of room for 2 additional car seats.
We had the Roundabout for my older son, but this is by far a better product if your looking for support and comfort.

Just bought this--our second Britax Boulevard car seat. We needed a seat for Grandma's car. I couldn't believe the $229 price on this, our first one was $300! I thought maybe it was a close out, but the seat was manufactured in August 2008. Babyage delivered it in two days!
Our daughter is 28 inches and 20 lbs at 7 months old. After about 5 months she was too big for her infant seat. This seat is perfect for her, comfortable, and we love the fact we can keep her rear-facing until 35 lbs.
It is super easy to adjust the harness - no need to rethread and it is easy to install with the latch. Grandma's car didn't have the latch, so we had to use the seat belt - took a little bit longer but not too difficult to do.

We had the Britax Companion and was very satisfied with the how the seat functioned and the quality overall. My daughter grew out of it at 9 months though so we had to get a new seat. With the experience of the old car seat and the reputation of Britax rating high in safety made our decision to get the Boulevard. My now 10 month old is very comfortable and the seat works as expected. We bought this through Baby Age and they delivered as promised, new and on time. We are happy with the entire purchase.

The best carseat you can get a hold of. Just imagine these people make seats for airlines. They also make the mirrors on many of the cars we are all driving. They are British owned for the most part.
I like the fact that they put some thoughts in designing it where towards back of seat it seems narrower and gives people who sit around it more room. The seat itself gives ample room for your kids and plenty of good cushion here. It is just the way it is designed. Other carseats take up room back and front. The strap on it is high gade with like a rubber pad to keep it from twisting and for comfort which is like a big plus. The headrest on the seat can be moved up and down with just a lever to adjust to growth.
This carseat sits up high and that seems to be more entertaining for the kids I think and it is very stable.
This particular color is a little lighter on the dark portion than what you see here.
It is absolutely well worth the price. I have other nice carseats but I love this one and so does my kid. It is heavy but that is because it is made extremely well.
Don't skimp on this type of buy. Safety, comfort and a piece of mind is invaluable. It should last along time too and grow with your little one. This purchase was one of the best that I made! I had the Britax companion when she was small but now she is more than 22 pds.
