Simple design, but a must have for cloth diaper users.... August 30, 2008 I bought this to put my daughter's wet and dirty diapers in while we were out of the house. Now, I use all the time - at home or on the road. It contains the diaper odor well, doesn't leak and keeps the diapers together until they're ready for washing. I just throw the bag in the wash with the diapers to keep it smelling fresh. I love this product!
Great, Useful Product! August 25, 2008 I use this wetbag, for myself when attending my son's swimming lesson. It is just big enough for my suit, however small enough to fit easily into my purse. It's great b/c my suit doesn't get my other clothes wet. I have 2. (one for me, one for my son) I will definitely order more to use at the beach. Great product!!!
very "homemade" August 19, 2008 The material is nice, the "coordinating zipper" is just off white on an orange bag and the loop is white. The zipper is the cheapest of cheap zippers with a metal pull; however the teeth seem tight so they'll probably keep odors in the bag. The stitching quality is not commercial or quality handmade; it is homemade in a hurry. The tension is looser than is should be and already unravelling as I unpacked it. The seams at each end of the zipper were not reinforced (or even finished, as the threads are still loose), and the zipper is longer underneath, so you start pulling those threads out even more when the zipper is used. The stitching used to attach the zipper isn't parallel to the top edge on one side of my bag, and the reinforcing (going back and forth a couple of times) is really sloppily done; the zipper wasn't even attached with a "zipper foot." At least that thread matches the bag fabric; the seams are just done in white so all the loosening stitches show.
It's a nice size, the material feels good (though it seems like it will snag a lot). Would not buy again though isn't worth the bother of returning. And now I'm inspired to make my own for a buck since I didn't realize zippers could be attached as such without a zipper foot!
Great for cloth diapers on the go August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I carry two of these in the diaper bag-- one for used prefolds, to go into the diaper service bin when we get home, the other for used cloth wipes, which we launder ourselves. The bags are small enough to fit in my diaper bag, but large enough to hold all the used diapers/wipes from a full-day outing (about 6 infant prefolds).
These bags have held up to several runs through the washer and dryer. We've had no leaks, no odors, no problems!
Great for the diaper bag! April 22, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought 2 of these (one in butter and the other in bubble gum) so I can always keep one in my diaper bag, and I use one just about every day to hold wet/dirty cloth diapers when we're out and about. They contain odors well and are a great value for the money. I even use them for travel when we go away for weekends, and the 2 bags are enough to hold all my daughter's dirty diapers for a whole weekend (they hold about 6-7 or so diapers each).
One thing I should mention, because it happened to both of my bags, is that the first time I washed each bag (I turn them inside out to wash them), the serger stitching on the inside of the bag came loose and unraveled about half way on one side. The straight stitch still held it together so it's not like the bag fell apart, but I reinforced both sides with zig zag stitching on my sewing machine just to be safe. For me this was no big deal at all, but just wanted to mention it. After several months of use, they are holding up wonderfully and still look brand new. I love all the color choices too!
Overall, I think these bags are very functional and adorable, and I'd recommend them to anyone who cloth diapers or just needs a wet bag for any reason.
