Product Description Two pull along toys in one. Children can play with mother and pup togther or individually. Each time the mother dogs leash is pulled, she barks. For Children 3 years old - 7 years old.
Editorial Review Some parents might need to go to extreme measures to ward off the strong desires of some children to own a pet. The Barking Dogs Family is here to help. A mother dog and puppy made of pure, nonpooping plastic can roll along on wheels when it's time for a walk. They're attached by a leash, with puppy at the tail end. The mother dog barks when the leash is pulled: six electronic chips bark at a time. These beagles can be separated or pulled along together. --Lynne Sampson

Like it November 24, 2008 Just bought this toy and we like it a lot. A few issues we found though: Pull cord too short. I guess this is for safety reasons. But there is no way a 1 year old can stand and pull. So we had to attach another one. The baby puppy gets detached too easily, not a big deal though. It doesn't use standard AAA or AA batteries. It uses button cell batteries. I have bought a bulk load of AA batteries for toys, now have to search for those more expensive button cells. If I knew this before, probably wouldn't have bought this toy. Thats why I am giving it 3 stars.
Barking Dog January 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very cute dogs, but a couple of problems... the little dog pulls off of the big dog very easily. They rarely stay attached when my 15-month old pulls them around. Of course, we had to add on a longer string for pulling them around. There was no way our toddler could bend over and successfully pull a dog with a 4-inch leash! Plus, the little dog tends to flop over on its side whenever you turn a corner. Of course, then, it ends up pulling off of the big dog... it can't take much resistance. If I had the opportunity to buy a different pull-toy, I probably would...
great toy November 19, 2007 this is a great toy except that the pulling string was too short. we attached a string to it and it worked out okay. my 1 and 1/2 year old son loves pulling the toy everywhere in the house and thrilled when it barks.

My grand-daughter is only 10 months old and loves the little dog. It's the toy she plays with the most!
