Excellent for children with sensitive skin December 23, 2007
Our daughter has an allergic skin reaction to many forms of synthetic materials. However, she's not allergic to polyester (she can wear fleece) and these are the first polyester bibs we've found that can clean up with just water. They're great! They have good coverage and she can spill anything on them. Highly recommended, especially for kids with sensitive skin.

After the recent recall in practically all vinyl bibs, I went on a hunt to find some waterproof ones that would still be safe for my toddler and I found these! They are great--soft and thinner than all of the vinyl ones that can be hard and bulky, but and actually easier to clean! I just rinse them off in the sink then hang them to dry (which they do very quickly). They also have a handy pocket to catch anything that may fall.
These are smaller than some of the vinyl bibs you may be used to, but they work fine on my messy toddler. And there are so many cute print to choose from (we got the Dr. Suess ones!).
And they are US Made!

I love these bibs - compact, flexible, lightweight, washable, and CUTE! They are easy to put on and not stiff or scratchy. They velcro at the side of the neck instead of the back. I'm not crazy about the bibs that have the plastic cover over fabric because I don't like the way they hold condensation, and they never feel clean when you just wipe them down. With bumkins bibs, I just wash them in the washing machine and hang dry. These bibs have been the perfect fit for my messy eaters!

These bibs do the job of keeping our kid clean during meals. The front pocket catches food that falls, and as long as she's tucked up close to the table, no food makes it down her front. She does tend to "fish" out food that has fallen into the pocket, and eats it sometimes. We throw this in the wash with everything else when it gets really grungy, and it always comes out great. I like the three pack, because we can keep one packed in the diaper bag so we have one when we're out and about, and use the other two for at home, which is helpful when friends come over who don't bring theirs.

I love these bibs... just use them then rinse them and hang them to dry. So much easier than having to throw them in the washing machine all the time.
