The New York Giants baseball team wore a black cap with an orange NY and the Brooklyn Dodgers wore a Royal Blue cap with a white B on it. The original Mets caps were Brooklyn Dodgers blue with the New York Giants orange NY. I bought this cap for my brother David Jordan because both of our maternal Grandparents were from New York City and we are both from Philly so I bought it for BET protection from the Philadelphia Italians.
