Best Bibs--make sure you get the BIB DRYING RACK too. August 4, 2010

I absolutely love Bumkins Superbibs. They are the best and easiest to use. They last for years. Instead of putting them in the laundry after each meal, you just rinse them off in the sink and hang them up to dry. As long as you hand them on the Bib Drying Rack, the bibs will be dry by the next meal. So, forget buying 10 bibs. You only need to own 2 bibs per child. (As long as they are Bumkins Superbibs and you have the Mommy Genius Bib Drying Rack).

Being a first time mom, we'd been using standard terry cloth type bibs even during solid food feedings. We were accumulating stained bibs despite our best efforts to stain-treat them when I remarked to my husband it'd sure be nice if they made waterproof ones we could just rinse off and reuse. Voila! Not only are the Bumkins Waterproof SuperBibs waterproof and machine washable, they are still soft against baby's skin unlike some of the thicker plastic/rubber bibs out there. They are also generously sized so they will fit our little one's neck as she (rapidly) grows, whereas some of her original terry cloth bibs are already too tight.
The price is a little high for just 3 bibs but they clean up so quickly and easily you may get by with far fewer than traditional cloth bibs. You literally can rinse off the soiled bib under the tap in your kitchen sink, scrunch it up to wring out any water, lay it out and it'll be dry in an hour or less. And they hold up great in a washer and dryer (we wash them along with the rest of our little one's clothing, gentle cycle, and you don't really need to put them in the dryer.)

I used these with my daughter and they held up so much better than any others. I washed them with the clothes and am still using them on my newborn son!They lay flat on chest where as some of the other products were in the babies face. These were "softer"

This is the second 3-pack of Bumkins bibs that we have purchased for our son, now 20 months old. The first set lasted nearly a year with every day use. We always wash the bibs by hand right after using them and hang them to dry. They can also go in the washing machine for deeper cleaning. I love their light weight and packability for going to restaurants, and I especially like Keith Haring's colorful graphics (our first set were Dr. Suess). We've had no reason to use any other bibs.

We have had these bibs now for 4 months and use them at least 3 times a day. They show no signs of wear yet.
